Ralph Reyes is the chief madman behind the nibs at Regalia Writing Labs. Specializing in exotic and multifunctional fountain pen nibs, Ralph can often be seen laser welding multiple nibs together, shredding nibs to make them flex or doing other things to nibs that would make your mother cringe.

Regalia nibs are individually handcrafted and seek to be functional works of art. You can find Ralph’s work on Instagram (@reachingralph) or on his website at regaliawritinglabs.com

Saturday – January 12, 2019
5:30pm to 7:00pm (Free with paid admission to the Philadelphia Pen Show)
Pen Mixer
Attendee Limit: 60

In this fun and fast-paced event, six tables are set-up, each with a host. Each host has specialized knowledge and/or expertise in a particular area relevant to pens, inks, papers, and/or the pen community in general. Attendees fill each table and chat with the table’s host for 15 minutes, at which point all attendees move to the next table to chat with the next host. Yes… this is often called speed dating for the fountain pen community.

The Pen Mixer is a terrific way to not only spend time with well known names in the industry, but also to interact with fellow citizens of the community. Table hosts may include the likes of Ralph Reyes, Scott Franklin, Paul Erano, Dan Hoizner, etc.

PLUS – there will be Door Prizes! The Pen Mixer is the perfect way to end a great day at the pen show.
